LEPL – College “Spectri” is one of the well-known institutions that is concerned with the training on vocation in Georgia, whose history dates back to 1922. College “Spectri” carrying out the educational programs of all the cycles of vocational education in the field of construction.
In the 21st century, there is a high demand for skilled human capital, so “Spectri” tries to offer different types of programs to the students to raise their employability as much as possible. We have more than 100 partners companies and they perfectly understand that contribution to skills development is a guaranty for the sustainable growth of their business.
Equity is one of the key principles of the college; the building is adapted based on the universal design and accessible for all. There are extra support services for people with special needs in the college.
Innovation in teaching and learning is one of our priorities; we have 25 modern laboratories including 7 branded, 12 training workshops, 3 innovative technology laboratories (FABLAB), a library with 128,438 books, an open sports field, a conference hall, a first aid station and an autodrome.
Supporting an interesting life for students is one of our key goals. We organize seminars, training, public meetings with specialists and future employers, and informal activities to enrich student life.
Formal Training/Retraining certificate courses for the adult population – is a newer branch for the college, aims to deliver training programs in concrete skills in cooperation with the private sector. Mostly these programs last an average of 4 months (possible to have longer ones) and state recognized certificate is issued.
